Avalanche Summary
With a generally shallow and weak snowpack, most slopes are safe from avalanches. The few places you could run into trouble and trigger a small avalanche would be in steep, previously wind-loaded terrain. Use extra caution around open ridgelines or unsupported slopes above cliffs, where stiff snow or smooth-looking drifts have formed.
