Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Dense surface slabs up to three feet in depth lie upon hard old snow surfaces. These slabs were formed by west to north-northeast winds. The potential for humans to trigger these slabs on steep avalanche prone slopes will increase as the day progresses and temperatures warm. Shallow wet loose slides are possible on very steep sunlit aspects.
