The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Southwest winds have moved recent snowfall onto lee slopes along the higher ridge crests. Skiers and riders who venture into steep avalanche terrain have the potential to trigger deep sloughs or soft slab avalanches 18 inches deep. On steep slopes at higher elevations the potential remains to release deeper, hard slab avalanches to 3 feet in depth. Steep terrain that is ideal for high-marking will be dangerous.
