Points saillants

At the upper elevations new soft slabs to a foot in depth could be triggered on steep avalanche terrain. Deeper pockets of hard slab from recent snow to three feet in depth could also be triggered near cliff and steep rocky areas. At the mid elevations, particularly at the upper range near 9000', isolated pockets of slab up to 12 inches in depth could be triggered in cliff areas and on steep wind loaded aspects. At the lower elevations a strong near surface crust exists and avalanches are unlikely.
