Points saillants

At the upper elevations ridgetop winds have formed isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth. These pockets of slab are sensitive to human triggers on steep slopes underlain by slick crusts. With more snow and wind in the forecast the hazard at the upper elevations will be on the increase in the afternoon and into the evening. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations and not an issue at the lower elevation which lack snow.
