Avalanche Summary

You might trigger a slab avalanche on high-elevation slopes. Avoid stiff, wind-drifted slabs on east-facing, open slopes directly below ridgelines or in cross-loaded gullies.

It's warm for the next few days. Start and end your day early to avoid triggering a wet avalanche in the afternoon. Move to lower-angle terrain when the snow surface gets gloppy or you see rollerballs or small point releases running from steep rocky terrain.

If you find yourself sinking deeper than your boot tops in wet, unsupportable snow, it's time to call it a day.
