Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche in the loose surface snow that could get big enough to knock you off your feet. Be careful where you find more than about 10 inches of incohesive snow on steep slopes. You do not want a small sluff to drag you through rocks, stumps, or trees. Most other slopes offer safer riding.
