Points saillants
At the upper elevations where strong winds and moderate temperatures are expected to keep the snow surface cold, the avalanche hazard is confined to very steep, northerly aspects where isolated pockets to 8" in depth could be human triggered. Overnight air temperatures above the freezing point occured through much of the mid and low elevations last night where the potential for wet slide activity on steep slopes will increase today as temperatures warm and some sunlight softens the snow surface.
