Points saillants
Soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth formed by southwest winds persist at the mid and upper elevations. They lie upon slick crust and have been easily triggered by skiers in steep wind loaded starting zones. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of slab to one foot in depth have been triggered on steep wind loaded northeast aspects. The hazard will increase as temperatures rise. As the day warms the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers will increase. Wet slides are possible on steep sunlit aspects.
