The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. Below 8,500 feet shallow accumulations of new snow lie upon bare ground and avalanches are unlikely. Above 9,000 feet backcountry users could trigger isolated pockets of soft slabs up to 12 inches deep on steep wind loaded North facing slopes.

Winds are to be Southwesterly from 20-30mph. The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW. In the high elevations, it will remain possible to trigger isolated pockets of soft slab to 18" depths in very steep wind loaded terrain.
