Points saillants
Strong winds have drifted eight to ten inches of dense snow that fell in the past twenty four hours into drifts to two feet in depth in lee areas at Upper and Mid elevations. The new snow is resting on older light density snow making a weak combination that overlies slick crusts. Slides will be easily triggered by backcountry travellers and will realease naturally today. Travel in avalanche terrain is NOT RECOMMENDED.
