Mildværet fortsetter og vanninnholdet i snødekket øker ytterligere. Det lille snødekket som finnes består i stor grad av grovkornet, smelteomvandlet snø som drenerer vann godt, og forholdene er stort sett stabile. Likevel kan våte løssnøskred forekomme i svært bratt terreng, særlig der snøen er gjennomvåt.

Snowpack Structure

I lavlandet og kystnære strøk er det stort sett bart. Også høyere til fjells i indre strøk har snødekket et vårlig preg etter kraftig smelting den siste tiden.
