The early morning will see favourable conditions mostly, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. The soft wind slabs of last week can be released in some cases in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2500 m.

The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will already soften in the late morning. Weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. The spring-like weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2400 m. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible.
