The northwesterly wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. Wind slabs can in some places be released by a single winter sport participant and reach medium size. In some localities 2 to 5 cm of snow, but less in some localities, will fall until Sunday above approximately 1800 m. The wind slabs will be covered with new snow in some cases and therefore difficult to recognise, caution is to be exercised at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example. Backcountry touring calls for caution.
