As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be an increase in the danger of wet avalanches. More frequent wet avalanches are to be expected, even medium-sized ones. This applies especially on extremely steep sunny slopes. The runout zones are to be avoided. Backcountry tours should be concluded early.
Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to thorough wetting of the snowpack. Rather lightly snow-covered shady slopes above approximately 1800 m: Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted.
The high temperatures will give rise to increasing and thorough wetting of the snowpack.
