Instabilities will persist within deep deposits on East to South aspects. Gully tops, coire rims, crag aprons and steep convexities most affected with localised instabilities affecting lower elevations such as river beds and steep banks. Wind exposed areas will be stable, firm and icy. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.

Forecast Weather Influences: South-South-East winds will increase through the evening, reaching gale force by midday. The freezing level will be between 300 and 400 metres for the majority of the period. No precipitation is forecasted. Observed Weather Influences: Overnight snow to low levels cleared to leave a dry and sunny day. Strong winds from the North-West, eased through the day becoming light. Midday summit temperature of minus 9 degrees Celsius. ObservedSnowStability: Poorly bonded windslab has developed on East to South aspects above 900 metres. Moderately bonded windslab persists on North-West to North-East aspects. Steep wind sheltered areas are most affected such as convexities, gully tops, coire rims and crag aprons. Cornices are also found above these same aspects. Wind exposed areas are stable, firm and icy. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
