Points saillants
New snow and strong southwest to west winds have continued to load existing soft surface slabs. At the upper elelvations these slabs are expected to be up to three feet deep and be very easy to trigger, especially in steep starting zones below well developed cornices. At the mid elevations areas of slab up to two feet in depth could be triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones. At the lower elevations isloated pockets of slab could be triggered in very steep wind loaded starting zones.
