The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE this morning and will increase to CONSIDERABLE as temperatures warm and snow surfaces soften. Persistant weaknesses in the snow present the potential for snowmobilers to trigger large dangerous slabs on steep snow covered slopes. Sunshine and warming temperatures could spontaneously release wet loose and hard slabs avalanches and will increase the potential for human triggered avalanche events.
