Snowpack Summary

Anticipate moist or crusty, breakable surface conditions, depending on the time of day and sun exposure. Widespread wind-affected surfaces can be found in the alpine and treeline terrain. Soft, dry snow may remain on shaded/northerly aspects above treeline.

The mid and lower snowpack is largely made up of weak faceted snow and various crusts near the base of the snowpack.
