The fresh snow and the sometimes large wind slabs formed by the easterly wind are poorly bonded with the old snowpack in some places in particular on steep sunny slopes and at intermediate and high altitudes. These can be released, even by a single winter sport participant and reach large size in isolated cases. The current avalanche situation calls for caution and restraint, caution is to be exercised in particular on steep slopes, and on wind-loaded slopes.
