Points saillants

DANGEROUS soft slabs 1 to 4 feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations and have been skier triggered during the past two days. Weak layers are present deep in the snowpack on all aspects and some events have stepped down to buried crusts and the ground. Similar events could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects and natural activity is possible. At the lower elevations new unstable soft slabs up to 2 feet in depth could be triggered in the starting zones of avalanche prone terrain and on steep road cuts. Be aware of the increasing hazard as new snow and winds load the already unstable snowpack.
