Avalanche Activity

Forecast Snow Stability: Stability will remain good in many places. Hard and icy conditions will be prevalent. At first, localised deposits of windslab on some steep South aspects above 950m. Stronger winds and a change in direction may induce drifting later in the period and lead to new thin and weak windslab development on some steep North to North-East aspects above 950m. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation is forecast. Remaining very cold. Light West-North-West winds freshening and becoming South- Westerly, then Southerly much later.
