Avalanche Activity

The avalanche danger in the early morning will be low (level 1). As the day progresses as a consequence of solar radiation there will be a gradual increase in the avalanche danger to level 2 (moderate).

Snowpack Structure

Friday: 0 to 10 cm of snow has fallen above approximately 2400 m. As a consequence of new snow and wind the wind slabs will increase in size since Saturday.

Tendency

As a consequence of snowfall above approximately 1700 m the northerly foehn wind, fresh snow drift accumulations will form at the weekend.
