Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above an elevation of 8,000 feet. Areas of unstable snow persist on steep, avalanche-prone slopes underlain by a weak base of faceted snow. Hard slab avalanches up to two feet deep could be triggered by one person on a slope or after a slope has been crossed multiple times. New snow could also be human triggered in the form of sluffs or shallow soft slabs. Evaluate terrain and snow stability carefully. At the lower elevations the general avalanche hazard is LOW.
