Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevations Westerly winds have formed new soft slabs up to two feet in depth. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered and could step down to old snow surfaces. At the lower elevations the snowpack is comprised of weak cohesionless faceted snow. Isolated pockets of slab up to one foot in depth have been recently triggered at the lower elevations. Be aware of terrain traps.
