Avalanche Activity

In some localities light precipitation.

Only isolated small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 2500 m. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be started and concluded early. Below approximately 2500 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be generally moist. The old snowpack will be stable. Below approximately 2500 m only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

Tendency

The danger of moist avalanches will increase during the day.
