Light snowfall to low altitudes. The snowpack remains generally well bonded.

In some localities some new snow above approximately 900 m. Individual avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found especially on extremely steep shady slopes. Very steep sunny slopes: There is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

Snowpack Structure

Less snow than usual is lying. Below approximately 2000 m no snow is lying. In some regions 2 to 10 cm of snow, but less in some localities, has fallen since Friday above approximately 1800 m. The old snowpack will be well bonded on steep sunny slopes. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. Hardly any more avalanches were reported.

Tendency

Some new snow: The avalanche danger will increase.
