Be careful in terrain with fresh storm slabs until the new snow is stabilized.

Snø og vind gir skredproblem med nysnø- og fokksnøflak i leområder i høgda. Mykje av snøen kjem på bar bakke og tynt snødekke, dette vil avgrense skredproblematikken. Mildt vêr gjer at nysnøen vil stabilisere seg ganske raskt.

Snowpack Structure

Det er tynt snødekke med mykje barmark. Mest snø er det i indre strôk, med tildels samanhengande snødekke i austvendte leområder. Det er fokksnø av ulik hardheit, og framblåst skare enkelte stader.

Det er funne kantkorn under skare i indre deler av regionen. Det er truleg ikkje eit skredproblem.

Tendency

Natural dry slab avalanches and wet loose snow avalanches are possible due to wind and mild weather. Freezing level at about 1400 masl. Avalanches can reach infrastructure in particularly exposed areas. Avoid avalanche terrain.
