Avalanche Activity

Fresh wind slabs above approximately 1600 m.

The more recent wind slabs represent the main danger. Especially on very steep north, northeast and east facing slopes individual small avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack remains generally favourable. The strong wind has transported some snow. The fresh wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.
