Points saillants

Even though the calendar says it is summer, spring conditions still linger in the high mountains

Check the details section for helpful weather and condition links

Many trails remain snow-covered and may be exposed to avalanche terrain. Adhere to safety signage at trailheads or check conditions with info centers or the trail report

Snowpack Summary

Lots of snow remains up high and we may see winter-like storms with corresponding avalanche problems. The deep persistent problem persists and we will likely continue to see large deep avalanches with heating, rain, or large triggers, such as cornice failures.
