Avalanche Summary

New snow and winds moving snow increases your chances of triggering a small avalanche above treeline. Look for and avoid fresh and firm lens-shaped drifts below ridgelines and in cross loaded gullies.

Safer travel can be found at lower elevations out of the wind.
