Points saillants
Soft slabs to 20" in depth have been formed by the last two storm cycles. These slabs could be triggered today by skiers or riders on steep, wind loaded aspects. Skiers, boarders and particularly snowmobilers could also trigger the persistent deep slab instability which could pull out to the ground. These deep, hard slabs could cause severe trauma and/or deep burial to anyone involved in a slide.
