Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists except on steep slopes with northerly aspects above 8000 feet. In these areas DANGEROUS slabs up to eight feet in depth lie on old slick snow surfaces and could be human triggered by riders highmarking as well as by skiers. On other aspects pockets of slab could be triggered on steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Be aware of terrain traps at all elevations.
