Points saillants
At mid and upper elevations new soft slabs 1 to 2 feet deep and old hard slabs up to 4 feet deep exist. NATURAL AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE & HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE PROBABLE as these slabs are resting on light density snow, melt freeze crusts on southerly aspects, and facets on northerly aspects. At lower elevations shallow isolated pockets of soft slab are possible on steeper wind loaded slopes.
