Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Unstable slabs one to three feet in depth exist in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain. These slabs lie upon hard crusts and weak layers of faceted snow and could be easily triggered today by backcountry users who venture into avalanche terrain. Significant natural and haman triggered avalanche activity has been reported in the Teton area over the last two days.
