Points saillants

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist at the mid and upper elevations. Unstable soft and hard slabs two to four feet in depth exist on a variety of aspects and are very sensitive to human triggers. As the day progresses the hazard will increase on sunlit aspects. Rising temperatures and sunshine will increase the potential for human triggered and naturally released avalanches to occur. The consequences of involvement with one of these slabs could by fatal. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
