Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations small pockets of soft surface slab less than a foot deep and loose snow lie upon good sliding surfaces. Beneath the new snow hard slabs lie upon weak depth hoar. Humans who venture onto steep avalanche prone slopes could trigger deep hard slabs, isolated pockets of soft surface slab and/or shallow loose snow sluffs. At the lower elevations avalanches are unlikely except for shallow loose snow sluffs on steep slopes.
