Points saillants

Avalanches will be unlikely on Sunday.  Small, isolated pockets of instability may exist, particularly on West or SouthWest slopes where the wind may have blown in snow.

Avalanche Discussion

On Saturday there were observations of isolated and small Wind Slabs on SouthWest facing slopes.  Generally though:  the wind shift, cool temperatures, and partly cloudy skies kept avalanche hazard to a minimum.  Surface conditions are variable with the prominent driver being the Moderate winds from the North which have stripped the usual start zones of soft snow and loaded some slopes that we are used to being windward.
