As a consequence of new snow and a storm force northerly wind, sometimes large wind slabs formed in all aspects. In addition further wind slabs will form. Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls dry slab avalanches are possible, even quite large ones. Avalanches can be released, even by a single winter sport participant or triggered naturally. Avalanches can in some places be released in deep layers in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes. In addition loose snow avalanches are possible.
