The overall avalanche danger is MODERATE today. HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE.
Your biggest concern is finding a fresh drift that may crack out. These will mostly be found along the upper ridges that face more towards the east and northeast.
Continue to use caution in areas with a shallow snowpack as there is a chance that a person could trigger an avalanche that breaks into weak sugar snow near the ground.

Snow and Weather
Southwest wind picked up and drifted some snow on Sunday. Many of the upper bowls have been hit by the wind over the last few days but you'll still find excellent soft snow in sheltered terrain. Mountain temperatures hovered around 20˚ overnight.
We'll see gradually warming temperatures over the next few days with continued southwest wind in the moderate speed with some stronger ridgetop gusts. A small storm looks like it'll roll through Wednesday night and then more chances for snow Friday and into the weekend.
