Wednesday will see increasing clouds through the day with mountain high temperatures near freezing. A moisture starved trough will move over the region Wednesday night bringing a slight chance of light snow to the mountains. Winds will be southwesterly at 20 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Isolated pockets of shallow soft slab up to 8 inches deep could be human triggered on steep, wind-loaded slopes underlain by slick old snow surfaces.
