Points saillants
Pockets of slab up to 12 inches in depth persist along ridgelines and cross loaded slopes at the upper elevations. These slabs, which rest upon good sliding surfaces, could be triggered by backcountry travelers venturing into steep, wind-loaded avalanche terrain. Mostly stable snow exists at the mid and lower elevations. However, any extended periods of rain will lead to a chance of shallow wet slides below 9,000 feet.
