Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations DANGEROUS slabs up to four feet in depth persist. These slabs could be human triggered today especially in cliff areas and in steep wind loaded starting zones that have not already had recent avalanche activity. The consequences of deep burial and severe trauma should not be underestimated. Wet slides are possible on steep, sunlit aspects as the day warms.
