Points saillants
Pockets of soft slab up to three feet in depth exist at all elevations and could be human triggered today. The common weak layers are light density snow, buried surface hoar and near surface faceted crystals. Skiers have triggered soft slabs on these layers in the past few days, and natural activity in steep cliff areas has been observed. The hazard should increase with continued snow and high winds today. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMENDED TODAY. Avoid avalanche prone terrain, steep banks, roadcuts, wind loaded cliff areas and be aware of other terrain traps.
