    Probabilité
    Unlikely - Possible
    Taille

Hard slabs from last weeks winds persist (beneath recent storm snow) in alpine and treeline terrain. These slabs are unreactive to skier triggering, but  whomphing  and compression tests in the moderate range are being observed on this layer.

Weather Forecast

Light snow (with little accumulation) and cool temperatures are forecasted through Friday.

Snowpack Summary

In alpine there is 20-25 cm of recent storm snow sitting on previous hard wind slabs and wind pressed snow. Some soft slab development has occurred in lee terrain near ridge tops. In shallow snow pack areas the mid-pack is facetting and loosing strength.

Avalanche Summary

No recent avalanches activity observed.

Confidence

Intensity of incoming weather systems is uncertain
