In the last three days sometimes large wind slabs formed in all aspects.
The large surface-area wind slabs of the weekend can be released even by a single winter sport participant in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m.
Snowpack Structure
The old snowpack will be unfavourable in particular on steep shady slopes. The fresh snow and the sometimes large wind slabs can be released very easily in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m.
