Points saillants

It will be hard to find a significant avalanche problem on Sunday.  Our prolonged melt / freeze cycle will be moslty "freeze".  Continue to watch for loose wet snow on the sunniest of steep slopes midday.  Increasing winds and cool temps later in the day will keep the window for soft, melted snow very limited.

Avalanche Discussion

For the past week skiers have been searching out the sunny slopes at midday for the softest snow.  There have been no wet loose avalanches reported or observed.  With Sunday's highs a couple degrees cooler and the winds picking up, it will be a touch more difficult to find soft surface snow and/or wet loose surface slides.
