Forecast Snow Stability: Although there will be some softening of the snowpack at lower altitudes it will remain well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest amounts are on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 950 metres. Below 950 metres the snowpack will be very limited and patchy. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions throughout the forecast period. Strong West-North-Westerly winds will gradually ease to moderate and back to become South-Westerly in direction through the afternoon. The 900 metre freezing level will rise above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with a cooling North-Westerly wind. The freezing level was around 800 metres. ObservedSnowStability: There is a fine dusting of insignificant snow above 800 metres. The old snowpack is very firm well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest amounts are to be found on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 950 metres. Below 950 metres the snowpack is very limited and patchy. The avalanche hazard is Low.
