Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to thaw at all levels, and remain well bonded and stable throughout. There will be the potential for some wet snow surface instabilities especially around steep coire back walls. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Mild, dry conditions will continue with moderate to strong Southerly winds. The freezing level will remain well above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A dry mild day with spells of sunshine and cloud over the summits. Winds were strong, Southerly in direction. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to thaw at all levels, and remains well bonded and stable throughout. The snowpack is most widespread above 1000 metres on coire back walls and the plateau. Surface wet snow instabilities were observed on some steep slopes. The avalanche hazard is Low.
