Forecast Snow Stability: There will be a dusting of new snow at the highest levels. Isolated shallow pockets of windslab may develop on Easterly aspects above 1000 metres. The old snowpack will remain firm well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest amounts will be on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Below 900 metres it will remain patchy with ribbons of snow in stream beds shallow gullies and on steep banks. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate to strong Westerly winds will increase in strength through the afternoon. Overnight the freezing level will briefly rise to above the summits before falling again to around 800 metres. During this time there will be a brief spell of light summit snow, this is expected to clear before dawn. Observed Weather Influences: A cold dry day with moderate Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 800 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is very firm well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest accumulations remain on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Bellow 900 metres the ground is mostly clear of snow with some patches remaining in shallow gullies and on steep banks. The avalanche hazard is Low.
